Final exam essay
A joint committee of Congress is reviewing the federal budget. Ever vigilant, looking for places to implement cuts, the committee is seriously considering making specific cuts to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
You are Ulysses. Having survived the Victorian Age and the 20th century, you have been asked to address the committee. In the character of Ulysses, using his language, make a persuasive argument for NASA's continued funding.
